Oman/ Passport requirement for work visa

Hi

Just needed information about getting work visa for Oman. Can you apply with a manual passpost of Pakistan or you need computerised passport?

Computerized passport will make your life easy.

I know but its a temporary job (only for 2 months) and the job needs immediate start and the computerised ID card will take atleast a week after I land in Pakistan and I haven't booked the ticket yet.

If you Job is Oman Only and does not require to go to UAE (Dubai) for any reason, then manual will do.

Computerized Passport or Manual, i believe you need Computerized ID card in either case.

Many thanks Hannibal. Hope that's confirm. Ya I dont need to go UAE while in Oman.

Its just a temporary thing. will make my CV good hopefully.

Can I get a computerised ID card while I am in Oman as I might plan to head of UAE afterwards?

You can do whatever you want when you are in Oman
