I don't think it's fair to fault the Iranian athletes, it's the policies of the government that forces their hand.
^Nelson Mandela himself has said the illegal actions of Israel are directly comparable to apartheid in South Africa. Whats the difference, this time Jews are doing it instead of South African Whites. Thats the only difference. When the entire world boycotted South Africa then, whats wrong with one man having the balls to stand up the Israel now?
By all rights Israel should be boycotted at the olympics and until Israelis learns that mass murder of Palestinians is not acceptable policy, Israel should have an economic embargo placed on it.
In fact anybody with half a brain would tell you the only thing standing between such actions against Israel is the US its veto in the UN and associated power. The vast majority of the rest of the world would oblige.
Did you catch the reaction of Greek fans in the opening ceromonies of the olympics to the Isreali and Palestinian teams? Did'nt surprise me.
