28th olympic games are due to start in 10 days time as you all know. Ehsan bhai and I would like your input on the groupings of the games and categories of the respective threads for olympic 2004.
There are about **37 **different disciplines. There are more than one ways to group them.
Here are different suggestions, you can ofcourse present yours too.
-One seperate thread for medals tally.
-One seperate thread for Field hockey for obviuos reasons.
-We can group indoor sports such as table tennis, badminton, Basket ball etc and one for outdoor sports such as tennis, football etc.
We can group according to following categories : Swimming, Athletics
Hockey (For obvious reasons) ,Modern Pentathlon, Cycling, Boxing, Others.
One thread for general news and views.
Nothing is finalized yet and ideas presented above are just examples of things we can come up with. Your input would be appreciated.

These three as separate threads definitely. The grouping of sports together part is needs to be thought bout. Im not sure if I like the idea of grouping all indoor sports together and all outdoor sports together. Also im not sure how much interest guppies will have in certain sports like Equestrian, Fencing, Canoeing and the like, to deserve a separate thread?

Thanks everyone. Some of the suggestions were really good. We have tried to come up with comprehensive threads. Even after the threads are opened, you people can still present your ideas and suggestions in case you think some important aspect has been over looked etc.
