Olmert: Imagine a terror attack in your city.

Olmert is right. We have seen bomb blasts in Pakistan and we do not like it. Pakistan and Israel have both becom victims of terrorism. May be they should work together to fight this menace.

Olmert: Imagine a terror attack in your city

“Imagine what would happen in your city if a terror attack such as [the one in Mercaz Harav Yeshiva on Thursday] took place,” Prime Minister Ehud Olmert asked hundreds of mayors from across the world during a Twin City conference at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem on Monday.

“Despite terrorism and despite the pain, we are not relinquishing the monumental task of making another dramatic step that can bring us closer to building the foundations for true peace between Israel and the Palestinians,” Olmert said.

The prime minister also mentioned his turbulent years as mayor of Jerusalem during the height of the second intifada, which “were years of incessant work against dozens of murderous terror attacks in the streets of the city.”

“Last Thursday Jerusalem was witness to an additional murderous act,” Olmert said. "A terrorist penetrated the Mercaz Harav Yeshiva and fired indiscriminately with an automatic weapon. This took place at a time when the students were making the final preparations for a party celebrating the new month of Adar, a month during which we are ordered to celebrate and be happy.

“Unfortunately, he succeeded in realizing his malicious intentions and murdered eight Torah students in cold blood, in the heart of the yeshiva, in the heart of Jerusalem, in a place where we thought nothing bad would happen to any Jew who studies Torah,” continued the prime minister.

“Imagine for a moment what would happen in your cities if, God forbid, a similar terror attack took place,” he told the mayors. "Ask yourselves, if eight young men, students in your cities, had been brutally murdered in the name of religious extremism - how would you react? How would you feel? What would you say to your residents?

“Who would not be afraid of a situation where his city was threatened by rockets?” added Olmert. "Who would not want to react when faced with such a threat? We have never stopped struggling for our lives. The intention of terror organizations by shooting Kassams is identical to that of the terrorist last Thursday - to make our lives unbearable.

“They wish to run us off the path to peace, but there is no chance that they’ll succeed,” he said.

Union of Local Authorities in Israel (ULAI) chairman and Karmiel Mayor Adi Eldar, reaching out to the mayors of Palestinian towns who were invited but chose not to attend, emphasized the ULAI’s “commitment to promote peace.”

“I call upon our brothers, Palestinian mayors, who were invited to attend but who chose not to participate, to reach out for peace together in order to restore this region to the glory of biblical times, when it was the cradle of civilization,” Eldar said. Eldar also bestowed upon Olmert an award for providing substantial support to local authorities in Israel.

Re: Olmert: Imagine a terror attack in your city.

When Taliban were coming to power and defecated on women's right's Benazir Bhutto (over rated) turned a blind eye.

When Taliban were recognized by Pakistan goverment the country turned a blind eye to Afghanistan.

When Taliban sought and were given refuge in western Pakistan and madrassas started sprouting Musharaff and his Security Agency turned a blind eye.
And now they want Pakistan turned into another Afghanistan. It's time military might annihilated them from western pakistan swiftly and with precisional exactitude. Pakistani military push them toward afghanistan into the waiting arms of the brave soldiers of ISAF and carpet bomb them all. They are a venomous scourge who care not when they slaughter their fellow muslim men, women and children.

Re: Olmert: Imagine a terror attack in your city.

You forgot to mention....USA powered Taliban and birthed it. USA turned a blind eye.

Annihilation is far fetched and inhumane. Every life counts. There are other ways to fix the problems. Force is not the only measure. If that was the case Iraq would be a liberated (hehe i almost giggle everytime i say that and Iraq in the same sentence) and prosperous nation right now.

America did one good thing and removed Saddam, but it failed overall because it didn't understand the people and their culture/values/traditions, etc.....

Same happened in Afghanistan, Coalition forces came to root out Al-Qader and OBL, and then decided to take on Taliban as well. We don't even hear about OBL anymore.

Re: Olmert: Imagine a terror attack in your city.

Culture/values/taditions etc??? what , you mean the sunni versus shia competition of who can murder more with one suicide bomber?

The USA did help the mujahideen , they were asked for assistance bye the bye. And what did the mujahideen become. Blood thirsty troglodytes who defecated on women's rights and sent society packing into caveman era.

Sorry the only death I feel sorry is for the innocent man, woman , child and animal who has suffered at the hands of crazy clerics, mad mullahs and maniacal martyrs. THe last three group of human excrement are a waste of water, rather give it to the thirsty plant. Corner this lot and blast them to Allah as they wish in the first place to be. Except Allah will send them directly to the world of flames where they belong.

Along the way, drop every single rocket onto the roofs of everysingle madrassa that espouses extremist and islamofascist rhetoric. AMEEN.

Re: Olmert: Imagine a terror attack in your city.

Pray very very very hard because it doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon.

Re: Olmert: Imagine a terror attack in your city.

You can say that again.

Re: Olmert: Imagine a terror attack in your city.

and again !!!

Re: Olmert: Imagine a terror attack in your city.

I would beg to differ.
He is the last guy, (not even) to give anyone advice about terrorist attacks in his cities.

What happened in his city is nothing compared to what they have been carrying out in Palestine for decades, it can never add up, it can never be compared.

As for the Taliban, I don't know which ones you speak of, the ones that were acclaimed heroes (after getting the columbian launch of 86 dedicated to them by ronald reagan!) in the 80s or the ones that 'suddenly' deviated into a cult of savages within a decade?

While our vietnam and laos invading, afghanistan desecrating, iraq demolishing and power hungry daddy from the south, become liberators of the world, and are angels...especially when it comes to corporate domination and their goal for one world govt.

Is it not true they funded Nazis, and imported Nazi scientists after ww2? Wouldn't that make them a bigger terrorist threat then anything else in the world? Why else would Project paperclip succeed?

Why do you turn a blind eye to that, and focus on what the media shoves down your throat?

Get it through your heads, 'extremism' is a phantom enemy which is of no threat to anyone. It is a exaggerated enemy, created to infect the mind of the masses, so in the end, especially Pakistan, becomes another Chile, another Bosnia, another Vietnam, another Algeria, another Egypt, another Afghanistan, another Iraq, etc, the list is endless.

And while we sit pointing fingers, those at work, continue to profit, continue to wreak havoc, and continue to divide and conquer.

Re: Olmert: Imagine a terror attack in your city.

^^ Again that doesn't matter.....why don't you understand that

Who cares if USA thought the Taliban were Angels in the 1980's

To an ordinary Pakistani, they are blood thirsty terrorists who need to be wiped out from the face of this earth.

The Taliban are the most useless contribution to Humanity.

Re: Olmert: Imagine a terror attack in your city.

Right, so if within a decade they can turn into "demons", why ignore the bigger terrorist at play? Who has a track record that spans over a 100 years.
We cant be flip flopping just because every decade they come up with a new bandwagon for people to ride on. Pakistan can deal with its own problems, same with every other country in the world.

Re: Olmert: Imagine a terror attack in your city.

You are again ignoring the issue which is not surprising…

The problem is your fellow Taliban Nazis and their legions of SS aka Suicide Squads who are blowing up innocent Pakistanis.

You have more sympathy for Palestinians when Israel killed over 100 of them and yet you have shown no sympathy for fellow Pakistanis being blown apart by your Heroes, the Taliban.

Oh wait, you want proof. you want to make sure they are not Israelis…:rotfl:

Is it any wonder why Pakistan is so screwed up…

Re: Olmert: Imagine a terror attack in your city.

You think you can prove this sentence?
And also explain how I’ve deviated from the topic. Why can’t you handle counter arguments? Let me assure you, you’re views are not necessarily valid.

Re: Olmert: Imagine a terror attack in your city.

I can prove it by showing that you have not started a single thread condemning these bombings unlike the Palestine thread.

You have deviated from the topic by dragging America, Jews, Israel and Zionists and some grand conspiracy that the Taliban are the vanguards to protect us from these evil regimes.

The problem with people like you is that you think even the worst Muslim is still better than the kindest American or Jew

And thats why no matter that your Taliban Nazis do, you feel compelled to defend them because they are "Muslims" even though their actions are worse than the Nazis

And also, I don't want to get into a pointless shouting match with you....

Its clear where you stand. Supporting these animals no matter what just because they are muslims

Re: Olmert: Imagine a terror attack in your city.

So I'm a terrorist because I dont blame the Taliban for whats happening in our country? Honestly? lol Thats the justification? I should join a bandwagon, which has no base, no grounds to be justified upon? I'm not that foolish and naive.

Secondly, I bring in Americans and Jews, just like you bring in Taliban in any Anti-Israeli/American thread, Do you not? And here is where we differ. I believe American operations in Afghanistan and Pakistan are highly related to whats happening in Paksitan, the instability in the area is due to their presence, so why do you keep telling me I'm going off topic? When im tryign to show you whats wrong with the country.

I'm dead on the topic, It is others who choose to call it deviation to ignore the topic at hand.

You call them Taliban Nazis, yet you dont give an iota of care to the import of the same Nazis into American system by Truman. How is that for hypocrisy?

I know where I lie, I dont need your theories to assume where my support is.

Re: Olmert: Imagine a terror attack in your city.

I think you are a terrorist sympathizer. Just like in Germany, even after 60 years after World War II, there are people who sympathize with the Nazis, same goes in Pakistan with people like you

Not really. Its you who defend terrorist actions which thus compels me to condemn the Taliban for their actions and then you bring in USA and Israel and claim they are worse than the Taliban and the circle continues

**What is wrong with Pakistan is that people like you are too obsessed with blaming America for the problems in Pakistan and fail to see that the Taliban are a bigger threat to Pakistan than America.

And the only reason for that is that they are Muslims. Turkey took on the PKK, all the Turks supported this action. That is the kind of unity we need against these savages but there unfortunately people like you who are compelled to drag Pakistan down.

Sure...whatever you say buddy....

Do I care about that? I know America imported Nazi scientists to develop their missile programs and Rocket programs. But again you are deviating the topic.

I am talking about the Racial hatred that the Taliban and Nazi Germans shared of Jews.

I am talking about the destruction that the Taliban and the Nazi Germans led their countries too.

I am talking about how they both embody evil and blame others for their problems.

The Taliban are embodiment of the Nazis.

And just like the Nazis after they led Germany to its utter destruction and the deaths of 7 Million Germans, they still have sympathizers in Germany

Same goes for people like you who are either too naive to see that these people just because they are fighting your mortal enemies such as America are a friend to Pakistan.

Just because the Taliban are an enemy of America does NOT make them a friend of Pakistan

Your support lies with the Taliban. You support them because they hate Jews, Israel and America and have 3 foot beards and thus giving them all the credentials of true muslims and thus making them the friends of Pakistan.

And people like you think just because I hate these animals because they are a danger to Pakistan makes me less muslim and less caring for Muslims around the world.

Its your 2 Dimensional thinking that Taliban=Good, America=Bad, and so if Pakistanis who hate Taliban=Bad

Unfortunately there are many more Pakistanis who think like you and thus the current status of Pakistan

We have become an international pariah, suicide bombings and terrorism a regular occurance

At the very moment when India is thriving, Pakistan is locked in a cycle of self destruction

All thanks to people like you....

These people have no future, no contructive outlook....

They banned the Internet, then why are you using it?

Since you live in Canada and Canadian troops are fighting in Afghanistan, should you be compelled to do something about it?

Re: Olmert: Imagine a terror attack in your city.

You obviously think you know more about me and my views than I do. Why dont you write my autobiography.

I wont even bother to respond to assumptions and myths. If you presented some solid facts, I would’ve answered.

But it gets ridicously stupid to state the same opinion over and over again, when the other person doesn’t understand why America Taliban Pakistan Terrorism are all inter connected.

Send me a copy of how I think and what I support real soon :hehe:
