Olmert Admits Zionist State Must Quit East Jerusalem and Syrian Golan Heights

Some Zionist fascists have started to come to realization that their policy towards Palestinians is a failure.
Olmert only gave his true opinion after he has no more power. This means that most Zionists still don’t have guts to admit it when they are in office. Looks like the need some more lessons from Muslims.

Olmert Admits Zionist State Must Quit East Jerusalem and Syrian Golan Heights
In an unprecedented recognition by a top Israeli official, outgoing Prime Minister Ehud Olmert the Zionist state that was illegally established in 1948 on Palestinian lands would have to “withdraw from East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights if it was serious about making peace with the Palestinians and Syria.”

Olmert made the remarks last Monday in an interview with the Yedioth Aharonoth daily, Haaretz online reported on 1 October 2008.

Olmert said that he, for decades, “had not been prepared to look at reality in all of its depth.”

Olmert’s statements come after two years since Israel suffered its first military defeat on the hands of the Arabs during the 34-day Second Lebanon War.

Led by Olmert and fully supported by the United States, Israel launched in July 2006 a full scale war on Lebanon aiming to defeat the Lebanese resistance led by Hezbollah.

After 34 days of war in which all types of weapons were used against the Hezbollah fighters, Israel admitted defeat.

“Ariel Sharon spoke about painful costs and refused to elaborate,” Olmert told the daily as quoted by Haaretz.

"I say, we have no choice but to elaborate. In the end of the day, we will have to withdraw from the most decisive areas of the territories.

In exchange for the same territories left in our hands, we will have to give compensation in the form of territories within the State of Israel," Olmert said.

“First and foremost, we must make a decision. I’d like to see if there is one serious person in the State of Israel who believes it is possible to make peace with the Syrians without eventually giving up the Golan Heights.”

“It is true that an agreement with Syria comes with danger,” he said. “Those who want to act with zero danger should move to Switzerland.”

Haaretz reported that according to Western and Palestinian officials, Olmert proposed an Israeli withdrawal from some 93 percent of the West Bank, plus all of the Gaza Strip, from which Israel pulled out in 2005.

This proposal is unlikely to be accepted by the Palestinians who are demanding east Jerusalem to be the capital of their future state and the “right of return” which allows all Palestinians refugees since 1948 to back to their homes in Palestin
