I think its just a matter of personal preferences. A few years here or there doesnt really matter. Some people would say that older women are more mature and wise, which is true, but with age people also get “set” in their ways. Marriage demands flexibility in one’s habits and with old age one becomes more reluctance to a change. So its not always better to marry someone older because of their maturity since there is such a thing as overly mature, and that goes for both men and women.
