Just wondering if some of the older threads in Image Central could be rescued from the archives (they are currently showing links to the images only) without resorting to editing every single post and uploading again to GS servers, or is this not possible?
Well....they are showing "links only" because guppies keep using the img tag, it had to be turned off. They might be modified sometime in the future.
who---me, just because a small minority of guppies used the IMG tag doesnt mean that you have to remove access to it altogether. This is unfair to the rest of the guppies who am sure would agree that some of the best threads are in the archives of the Image forums. What you should of done is removed access to the Image forums to those guppies who continued to use the IMG tag despite being given a warning.

Well it may not be easy but I would like to request that you would consider modifying access to the IMG tags, sooner rather than later.. You only have to look at the type of posting now in Image forums and notice that its just not the same anymore.
Hmm....yeah...thats true. Ppl have gotton used to thumbs. Anyway...we'll look into it.
6 months gone.. and who-me is still looking into it.
