How do you manage to throw away School and Uni stuff that has sentimental value 
If it’s sentimental, why throw it away? I’ve only kept report cards and some drawings/letters/stories I’ve written from when I was a kid. It reminds me of my innocence.

it depends on how much it is..if everything from school was sentimental then I would be semi-mental and be classified as a hoarder.
in the end, things are not important, memories are..take pictures of things, scan paper stuff, keep the very dear papers in an scrap book or two, or a dozen if you wish.

I used to have this issue. Just couldnt throw away old stuff. Then I became a hoarder , things everywhere , it frustrated me so much. All I could see was loads of space being taken up by stuff that was from the past. When ever I needed to find anything , I couldnt.
So then, I decided it was time for decisions ! went through my stuff over the course of several months , again and again and would keep aside things that were close to my heart, initially I saved 9/10 things .. then went through the stuff again and saved 7/9 things !
This strategy caused lesser heart ache and made it easier to part with my things !
