But korn is right back then there was no choice other than watching PTV so there was no rush to produce dramas,they had time for reharsals and there was no competition.With the introduction of dozen channels competition is tough and quality low.Even writers like haseena moin admitted it is difficult to get popular these days.

PTV had to produce 6-7 dramas for each quarter for Prime-Time Only and then competition was between centres (PTV Karachi, PTV Lahore, PTV Quetta, PTV Peshawer and PTV Islamabad). I don’t agree with Haseena Moin’s comment, as the publicity tools available today if utilised propley can do the wonders. All new channels have made their name by properly utilising those sources. There are sometimes good productions on PTV and Indus, but they don’t promote their material properly.
