some old urdu words I came to know from friends, so I might be wrong in few cases. Kindly correct me in that case. Add more if you feel like there were things which were considered bad by good muslims 40-50 years back, but the devil used the weapon of media effectively to present it in a pack that looks pure and good.

Mujra------------------------->Musical Evenings
Tawaif------------------------> Artists
Rest of the Be-sharam kaams might come under the category of “Entertainment”, which itself is not a bad word but can absorb bad activities to give them good reputation.
p.s. Please do not take it as offense. I am not saying that all artists or ways of entertainments are bad. I am just saying that sometimes bad acts are effectively done by using these terms, which might deceive common “sada” people.
