okay so i was thinking..when ppl get married..do u think that the wife HAS to b shorter then the husband..or do u think its okay for the girl to b a lil taller..?

It depends - if a girl is short, he shouldn't be shorter than her, i.e. if she's 5'3" and he's shorter - I think that looks bad.
But if she's average height - let's say 5'6" to 5'8" - it wouldn't be so bad if he was the same height or a teeny bit shorter. If she's tall for a girl, i.e. 5'9" plus, he can be more than a few inches shorter.
But at the end of the day - love trumps all and height rarely matter...
As an aside, I also find that really short girls do not look good with really tall guys - like when there is a foot height difference between the two even after she's wearing heels.

im about 5’6", I always said I wanted a really tall guy too and my fiance is just an inch taller than me…do these things really matter when you’ve found the love of your life? im happy with him 
and thats the most important thing. hehe besides now I cant even IMAGINE being with someone that tall…too intimidating!
hehe at the wedding , im sure my extended family will probably be like 
since with heels im easily taller than my fiance. The guys in my family are all VERY tall, my brother is 6’3".

They way I look at it is ... I'm not trying to match an outfit or find a nice tie to go with a suit...thats what it boils down to when you look for the one with the right height and weight. Cross those things off your list completely and you'd be surprised at the incredible treasure to be found.

That's a personal choice. The man should, ideally, appear stronger as to give the girl some sense of security. Either a short but built man, or a tall man would do the job.
The world has become much more civilized now, so there may not be much reason for girls with skinny/short guys to feel threatened.
Preferably the man should be at least a couple of inches taller.

well because i a 5 11 i wanted my hubby to be more in height and yeah he is.. he is taller than me:chai:
