wow sumone opened a thread abt okara..well cricplaya, my dad's from okara and we still go live in that big house in kot fatah jamal for couple days when we goto pakistan.i am not familiar with other areas of the city, but i do remember some resham cinema and than gol chauk where we goto eat gol gappas. there are relatives who live in more developed areas of okara.dont really know the names.
really love the enviroment of kot fatah jamal.it's so care free and all joyful :D

my husband's family is from Sahiwal..pretty close to Okara...currently he has to Khalas living in Okara...I have only been there a once when i went to Pakistan....so dont know much about it...
