Just to of on a tangent but with regard to the question about Egypt and it's aid package. I believe Egypt requested Military Aid because after cutting military ties with the USSR they needed US assistance to requip their Army. This assistance also helped the Egyptian police and paramilitary Intelligence forces control domestic dissent. In return the Egyptians provided the US with access to all the latest equipment that was provided to them by the USSR. This gave the US and Israel a major military advantage subsequently, Egyptian Soviet weaponry was also provided to the Mujahedin in Afghanistan (because the US could not be seen to be providing the "muj" with US weaponry).

Goldman Sachs went public a few years ago so prior to that it did not have to disclose its boards of directors etc. JPMorgan actually bailed out U.S treasury in the great depression or prior to that by bank rolling humongous amts of $$. But it didn’t own the treasury.
Thats the nature of FP in a capitalistic society. Multinational firms have the ability via lobbying to change FP. But that doesn’t mean that they own Fed-Res.
