My skin gets too much oily in summer especially when i wake up.. i use Neutrogena Facewash but it don’t help.. how to reduce oil from my face ?? should i change my eating habits or what should i apply on my face to control the production of oil…?

always buy a thing which have written "for oily " skin on it..even foundation (u shud buy revlon foundation they have foudations for all skin types)
i have used ponds face wash green wala..it makes my skin go super dry.......i have normal skin and it makes it dry...so i avoid it using now.....so i think it will work good for ur skin..
daily wash ur face with basan(gram flour)..it makes skin dry removes oil from pores..........

ahan then look for any other face wash which makes ur skin dry...because oily skin is a big problem..wash ur face as much as u can in a single day............and if u start using basen then u have no need to use soap or face wash..basen itself is a great cleanser

I have dry skin and I am using Neutrogena Visibly Clear Face wash and it makes my face soft and glowing. Experienced that Clean&Clear face wash makes your skin dry.
Like Dafodil said, A homemade treatment for oily skin is to mix Gram flour with lemon juice and apply on face, leave it for sometime and wash with lukewarm water. It will make your skin oil-free and glowing.

Hi, although oily skin can be a pitfall its also a blessing as it means you get wrinkles early! now I use clean and clear face wash - I all I know is it helps. I also use a vanishing cream - its like tibet but smells nicer. I often use baby powder (johnsons) its light and doesn't clog your pores, once I have put on my foundation, and sometimes apply it when I can't wash my face (during the day etc) over my nose area/forhead.
Also I advise you to drink plenty of water, avoid sugary foods - chocolate and excessive fatty foods (basically "junk") and up your intake of fruits/veg and protein. I also advise that you use rose water in the morning, so wash your face with your face wash and then with a cotton makeup pad apply rose water as you would a toner, let it dry naturally. Works wonders.

Yes i m using rose water these days ... what does vanishing cream do for your skin, is yr skin oily too ...?

i use clean and clear and then after 5 minutes of drying my face,i spray on some rose water.so my skin isn't oily and its not dry either

I hv also super oily skin. and for oily skin gel wash and moisturizer is the best. caz it doesn't clog the pores and clean it nicely. currently using loreal hydrafresh face wash and moisturizer both green wala. and result r amazing. Once try it. u will the difference.
Shanum, it helps stop oils because it's a talc based cream, plus evens skin tone

Well at the moment I use Spectro Hydracare daily facial moisturiser for blemish-prone skin. Haleon - Service not currently available or no longer active It works pretty well for me and doesn’t make me break out at all. I’m not too fond of its smell though 
I’d suggest you go visit your local pharmacy and see what they have there. Look for moisturisers specifically labeled 'oil-free/‘water-based’/‘non-comedogenic’.
Nope, if you use a moisturiser meant for oily/acne prone skin it should not clog your pores. The moisturizer hydrates your skin by preventing water from evaporating from the layers of your skin. If your skin is dehydrated (as a result of not using moisturiser), it will start producing more oil as result. Hence, no moisturizer..more oily skin. Non-comodegenic specifically means that the product doesn’t produce comedones.

Well dear i already told u i hv oily skin and also acne prone skin. now a days i am taking dermatological help to remove the acne. so currently moisturizer is loreal gel. and my experience told me gel is best for oily skin. clinique dual gel is also best. but it bit costly so i use loreal gel.

I have super oily face and I have been washing my face with besan for over a year now..It does not dry my face, rather prevents my face getting oily quickly..secondly, if I feel my skin has been dried out, I use Johnson's moisturizer..It is so light and absorbs well without making the face oily or clogging the pores. Also use multani mitti (mud mask) regularly.
