Oilve oil massage for newborn - any other tips to do for newborn???

Hi all,

So i’ve been told how olive oil is the best thing to use for baby skin and that I should massage him daily using this oil.

Are there any other tips that you guys can share about things that we can do for baby?? Another tip that I was recommended was to feed baby a little bit of cooled boiled water with a few granules of sugar every morning. Have any of you guys done this??

I would talk to your doc about giving water or sugar to a baby that young. What's the point?

sugar....? pointless. just giving the baby a sweet tooth too young. boiled water which is then cooled is fine,add jawain, boil the jawain with the water and let it cool in fridge, give the water to baby before feed, meant to help relieve colic and ease their stomachs...

Ermm i know my mom gave my son luke warm water with a dot of honey...
shazzy i wouldn't put sugar though..

Honey is a bigger no-no for babies under 1 year, it can prove fatal.
