Anyone using oil on their face as a moisturizer (day / night )? Any reviews?
Re: Oils for the face
I use olive oil sometimes at night as a moisturizer.
Re: Oils for the face
Olive oil in a mask (which means it gets washed after 20-30 min)
Oils for the face
Rosehip oil. It's the best.

^ khatti- have you noticed major improvements with using rosehip oil? do you use it alone or with something else?
Re: Oils for the face
Yep, I’ve used the following oils: rosehip, avocado, camellia, meadow foam, jojoba, almond, cranberry seed, emu, and macademia nut oil. Oils are different and it’s important to find one that works for you based on your skin type, climate you live in/weather. Currently I’m using camellia in my Vit. C serum, and avocado for OCM.
Here are some other threads that discussed using oils:

yes, i've noticed huge differences. my pores are less visible, i haven't had a pimple flair up in ever so long and my skin just looks all around great! i use witch hazel as my toner first, and then use a cotton ball to apply the rosehip oil...twice a day, morning and night and that's it!
Re: Oils for the face
I've used rosehip oil, Norwegian cod liver oil in lemon flavor, olive oil and almond oil.
Oh and coconut oil.
The most difference was made the by the cod liver oil.
It literally smoothed my skin out and made my skin tone extremely even.
The other oils were also great...no complaints.

Bio oil is very good too.

Brent and Texas are both at multi year lows. Worth looking into.

Everyone has different reactions about OCM or using oil as a moisturizer. But I want to warn you about using oil on your face, especially if you have acne prone, oily skin. I ordered Argan oil and jojoba oil both from Now food, USDA approved and all 100%. Before going to bed I used to clean my face well, and massaged a drop of jojoba and argan together for a minute or two, wipe off excess. Well, 3 days later my skin broke out. Few cystic acne and half a dozen of white heads. That was about a month ago and my skin is still in healing process. I was looking forward to use rosehip too but I have changed my mind now. I dont want to experiment on my skin that is $&@$# in healing scars :(
