Somehow, I got oil on my shirt last week. I washed it and dried it and it still didn’t come out. Now I’m afraid I’ve set the stain by putting it in the dryer! Any ideas on how to take it out?

Put some talc powder on it .. rub it in … and leave it … usually the talc absorbs the oil content … and the stain goes off easy …
But since you have washed it already , try doing the talc thing and if the stain still remains , with your finger apply some lemon juice to it … be careful , if the shirt is strong colored , lemon juice can decolor .. so make this choice thoughtfully … leave the juice on for 10 minutes and then wash that little stain area manually rather then putting the shirt in the washing machine … I think it should come off …

Oh you mean white ink? like the corrector pen? .. if thats the one then just use polish remover … it always helped me .. might help you too

LP , if its on your abaya then its even more easier .. just use your nail and scratch it off slightly … and then soak a bit of cotton in nail polish remover and rub it … Abaya material is usually silky and strong .. it will be easy to take the stain off it .. good luck

My MIL says if oil drops on ur clothes...ALWAYS put talcum powder on it as it absorbs the oil and you can then wash it later...

talcum powder works if you have NOT washed the article of clothing.
if you have washed already powder will not do the trick.
try CB's lemon juice.....and tell us if it works.
