Im tryina get over one now actually n its propa difficult.

Actually mine wasnt just a crush, we wer together for almost a year and I broke it off cus it was obvious to me that he wasnt really that into me. Anyway so now we've not spoken for a few days now and i cant stop thinkin bout him. I hate it, I want to get my mind on other things lyk ill try reading or thinkin of excuses to ring up a mate or do sumthing else, but he's always there in my mind and I feel lyk Arrgghhhhhh just stop thinkin bout him cus its just makin me a bit crazy really.

I think all it needs is time, time to move further and further back into ur memory as u try ur best to concentrate on other things. But yeh defo not easy. :(

Sorry my last post was bout an actual partner but wid a crush I would say just do ur best to stay away from him, lyk dont do anything or go anywhere that u knw he will be there also. I had my ex on my fb page and I've deleted him now cus it wasnt healthy seeing his statuses and all everyday. Good luck PCG and everyone else going thru this.

It's not. However, our nafs and feelings are so closely tied together that sometimes it becomes really difficult for us to know whether what we feel is really love or our nafs.

I don't think feeling love for someone is in anyway evil. It's natural. I don't know how to get rid of those feelings either but I also feel that love isn't about possession either. I don't care much about 'having' someone, so in that way, my feelings don't bother me much.
