Just heard on ARY and GEO PCB has decided the following:

  1. Waqar to continue as coach despite his failures
  2. Afridi asked to take back his retirement and continue leading the team in T20
  3. Shoaib Malik appointed captain of ODI’s in place of Azhar.

what next?

Now the fact finding report says:

1) Coaching team/staff to be changed
2) Wahab, Ahmed, Umer and Shoaib's game was below standard ( i dont know what that mean)
3) Captain Afridi enforced his decision to play 4 fast bowlers India, against the advice of Coach

4) Selection committee didnt check the fitness level of the players for the mega event.

On many fronts, Pakistan is playing a decade old cricket in modern days. We need professionals who has no political affiliations to run the PCB like a corporate.
A cricket committee who will select the selectors and coaches.
All positions and players' compensations should be performanced oriented in 60/40 ratio.

True or no, I wouldnt be surprised for any of these. PCB is run by goons. Their motive is nothing but to make money. They have zero interest in the betterment of Pakistani cricket.
