Oh no!

Re: Oh no!

This! Honestly Galaxy has nothing over iPhone. It is not as sleek and for my preference the screen size is too big. I did not even like the how it scrolls and app loading is not as seamless as iPhone.

:omg: You know, it’s good to have an active imagination…but this much, buddy?

Re: Oh no!

OK so I stopped by Radio Shack today. According to them the SIII will not be in stores for another couple weeks. Now if I do get one, it will have to be unlocked as my T-Mobile plan does not allow me to upgrade my phone (we chose that option as the other benefits were awesome). The guy at the store said that a new unlocked SIII will cost me $500-$600 probably. Hmmm. Gotta wait and see.

Re: Oh no!

of course S3 is going to be better as far as hardware goes but the new iphone hasn't been released yet or you havent seen it yet. iphone 4S and Galaxy S2 are comparable. as an iphone and android user. please save your husband time and money just wait for the new iphone to come out before you make your mind up. once you get comfortable with iphone its really hard to go with any other phone. specially android with having more than one button. android seems cluttered and buggy.

Re: Oh no!

Arrey, is the new iPhone going to be free? :smack: The cost is pretty much the same for both phones.

Re: Oh no!

my point is lets you get the S3 and then you see the iphone come out. and you like it then you have to tell him hey i need the new iphone then he has to sell the S3 that equals time waste then value would have gone down and he would have to add money to get you the new iphone equals money waste. but it will take couple months before S3 is released in usa. new iphone is being shown off in october so as an iphone user i would suggest you wait couple months

Re: Oh no!

hahah!! Looks like someone told u the story of my life :D!

But I’m not that pagal :snooty:

Re: Oh no!

before you try to buy the s3. so go to radio shack or best buy try the s2 for 5-10 mins to see how you like the android OS see if you like it. im an avid iphone user, but i have tried other other systems but nothing has persuaded me away from an iphone, it seems nice now. but there are rumors that the new iphone will have 4inch screen. and there are a lot i mean a lot of viruses on android

Re: Oh no!

^^ I did that yesterday...I mean tried the S2.

Didn't find it much different than the iPhone in smoothness, and trust me, I'm an Apple fanatic but I do like to keep my options open when it comes to technology. I had a Google phone when it first came out. Loved it! Had a hard time switching to iPhone but when I did, I love it. I have no doubt iPhones are brilliant. I have no complaints about my 4S and really I'd never even consider looking elsewhere if I wasn't getting bothered by the screen size. I do a lot of e-mails and apps that require my focused vision. I could use a slightly larger screen, and when I saw the new S3, it caught my eye. :)

Re: Oh no!

Some insiders say that new iPhone will shame SIII.

Lets see if its true or not. But iPhone gotta evolve in some way.

Re: Oh no!

Your fraand? Can he get me a discount?

Re: Oh no!

Btw, I visited a friend today and she has an S2. I was playing with it for a good half hour. It was awesome. The best part was the screen size and weight. I loved browsing the net on it. It was much easier than on my iPhone. Just saying.

Re: Oh no!

Did you know that when you scroll the iPhone screen it actually converts the screen into a graphic and that's what scrolls? So you have a much better "feel". Whereas on an Android the icons actually move.
I like some of their stuff but a lot of Apple stuff is illusionary rather than resolutionary, incase u didn't know :)

Re: Oh no!

SO anyone knows how much will an unlocked S3 cost for a T-Mobile user?

(TLK, please don’t be getting heart attacks. I like to do my homework.)

Re: Oh no!

Re: Oh no!

 I told u to calm down. It’s not like I’m reallllllllly going to go buy one (:chai:). I just want to know how much it costs. Bohot masoom si khwaish hai meri. Aap befikar ho ke apni out of town trip pe jayen.

Re: Oh no!

OK, so here are a few important points to consider:

Samsung Galaxy S3 vs iPhone 4

  1. Apps: While the quality of apps for the iPhone may be better as Apple does not allow apps they don’t approve of in the App Store, the downside is that it is very restricting.
  2. Easy to organize icons on the screen and folders on iOS. However, more customization is available with the widgets on Androids (I remember from my Google phone). Androids like S3 can do all that iOS can and more. You can even change fonts and make ur screen look pretty ().
  3. iOS is simple, they say, and I agree, but Androids offer more control!
  4. The screen for the S3 is larger, hence people like me can read their emails without having to enlarge and scroll up/down/left/right each time they wanna read or view a pic!
  5. The physical design of the S3 is definitely more beautiful than the iPhone 4S. Again, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, and yeah, I ain’t holding the S3 yet but man does it appeal to my humble eyes!

Re: Oh no!

Like the post many times over!

Agree on all points. I like the pretty font on my phone albeit its not the S3. I find iphone very boxy, in design and use. Honestly, I don’t know what’s so hard about using the Android? I keep hearing its hard to use but how?

Re: Oh no!

You 2 ladies rock. I'll call Samsung on Monday and get you some free apps or a cut in sales or something (before they kick me out).

As for hard to use point, I think that's bad people spreading rumors and old kharoos people who can't stand change.
