Oh no!

I hate to say this but the new Samsung Galaxy S III is looking better than my iPhone 4S.

I haven’t seen it in real life yet but from what I’m seeing online, it seems sleeker than the iPhone. Anyone getting it? Any comparisons with other popular smartphones?

I was waiting for it to come out.. and then when it did and I saw it I was actually disappointed. It’s not very … pretty (Can you even call a phone pretty, idk ) - but I find the iphone 4S looks better.

See, it's a smartphone. You don't use it for just phone calls.. In fact, I hardly make a handful of calls in a day. Mostly, I use it for managing my calendar, emails, messaging and other apps. Keeping that in mind, I'd prefer a slightly bigger screen than what my iPhone offers.

It's still a cell phone though. It shouldn't come in the size of a tablet. I don't want to carry around a purse, just so that I have my cell phone on me. That's for the metros to do...

I agree with Zapatisa. Phone should be of a size where you can hold it in one palm, comfortably. I think Iphone's size is ideal, not too big, neither too small.

I'm planning to hit the mall over the weekend and check it out myself. If I like the feel of it, I'll give my iPhone 4S to hubby, he can sell his iPhone 3GS and buy me a Samsung Galaxy III. :D

haha that's an awesome plan. Also I do believe the Galaxy S seriss phones have always been thinner and bigger then iphone. Iphone is a tad too small for some of the tasks. I would take an SIII over iphone any day. Now I just need someone to pay for it. :D
