if not the total number of runs in a year, the number of ceturies in a year record can easily be broken....
yusuf made 9 centuries to break viv's and desilva's record of 7 100s in a year....
ponting already has 7 100s this year, with 5 more innings to come before the year ends....
and we all know how frequently ponting gets a 100.... :(
