It feels so good to be back in British North America. Apart from a few minor differences, Canada’s the closest you can get to England’s fair and pleasant land. They’ve even got the right queen and all :queen:
All through my last day in the US I just couldn’t wait to finally get out and get back to Canada… and it felt so good to get off the plane and land.
Only downer is that after 2 years of business trips across Europe where waving my EU passport would rush me past all immigration, I actually had to suffer the indignity of waiting an hour in a line
Still, it wasn’t all bad. Ended up having a delightful conversation with the immigration official about how much he hated Americans and America and about how much better Canada was. Eventually he told me I’d better go because he’d spent too much time talking to me about stuff he shouldn’t be talking about on the job…
Help me understand why you ppl like your Queen so much. I have seen other Brit guppies like ducky, hiccy, laizy all praising the Queen. When i see those black n white videos of brit soldiers charging dhoti clad indis with lathis/canes I dont feel love for the Royal family.
Why did you bother visiting us in the first place Maddy? I am sure they took your picture with the webcam and marked it off into a special file called "terrorist"
