They must have a backup copy of GS on the same server or somewhere else too. In case something happen to one than other one can be make available.

Btw hosting same duplicate web site on different URL is not permitted by copy right law. Unless and until you have formal permission of all the stakeholders or they are redirecting from the same domain.

I wonder why we don’t have any copy right statement on GS

Namaan Bhai Jaan, all the threads,posts, discussion on gs can’t be copyrighted coz its user generated content. Yes Logo’s, slogan can be. !

oh you dun need to worry about that. some of the admins & ex-admin do have their own hosting facilities, in different parts of the world. So rest assured, flood or no flood in data centre, gs database is safe.

were you running another site before that had copied posts of gupshup on there? i spammed the hell out of that site when i saw :D anyways, it's not good for seo purposes to have duplicate content. google cache is something totally different. and too bad dude, this content is not owned by users, it's privately owned
