Or it could be said that 65% (in this poll) don’t believe the war on terror has made them less safe.
I’d imagine 85% would like free fish and chips on Fridays if polled. Would the government comply?

Besides semi those 50% are hardly likely to happy that a whole load of people died and billions spent to keep the status quo? Dream on!

To be honesty thappie, I wish it would all just stop. As long as it goes on though, I have to defend my side. The problem is that we're both dicks about it when we don't really have to be. It's my nature and I assume it's the same w/you.

The last two examples I'll give you, this is where Saddam was overthrown. But you should have used a lock pick and not a hammer to do it. And should have in no way linked it to mineral rights, that just looked transparent and set back the re-building of the country another 10 years after the 10 years of failed sanctions.
The comparison to communism suggests the fight against a mainstream ideology and the war on terror has fought hard to put the emphasis on the extremist element and not mainstream Islam, many would say this smells, tastes and looks like a crusade. The cold war was all about the whole of the USSR, China SE asia etc against the whole ideology, so no this war cannot be compared to to that.
Besides one mans capitalist dream is another socialists nightmare.
Anyway I'm here today reporting the public opinion in the UK, many people don't agree with the US campaign and think it's not helping the UK.

I am a ‘moderate’ ‘mainstream’ ‘normal’ Muslim in real life believe it or not, what you see on GS is a mixture of me and something to fill a void I see on here. Yup, you bring my worst qualities out 
It’s the only workout I get these days I suppose, tapping the keys to get back atchya.
On the war, too much is invested in it to make it all stop, I hope I’m wrong though.

There are a lot of us on here who are more moderate and mainstream in real life than our gupshup a-hole personalities. (And a few who probably aren't)
Probably mostly to defend our side and to fill a void or point or view we see missing. And it's kinda fun to get under someone's skin without being so rude and blunt to their face.
I still say you can find 85% of Britons in an online poll that want to use the Queens panties for a hammock in their country home. It doesn't mean that tight broad will allow commoners to swing in her knickers any time soon.

Ok so all thus stuff about Americans supporting the war is BS then eh? If one poll is worthless then so are all others. Why do you even have polls of they are so useless?
Plus a democracy if it is one does what its people want. After all that is the difference between a democracy and a dictatorship.

Polls can not be accurate 100% and using different media outlets the polls will show different results.
But one thing is clear the WOT has been a failure and for sure not just britain but whole world can see it has not made the world more safer place, in fact the Us and Britain have managed to recruit 100's of thousands of people ready to inflict damage against these 2 states by thier gung ho actions in iraq and afghanistan.

Yes the world has not become safer. When I see two-three asian look like in at some metro station, I like to keep a 100 meter distance from them.
