Urdu to mirza ghalib walee pasand hai, zor daar qsim kee ..Lucknow kee urdu bohut he mazloom qsim kee hoti hai
Re: Offering Urdu language classes
Will the proper "Qaf" sound be taught? If not, please also remove the "S", "T" and "W" sounds as well. If "Qaf" sound isn't important, neither are those.

what is your definition of pure form :)
Re: Offering Urdu language classes
No I don't. Would you like it if I pronounced Ghareeb as Kareeb? or Ghar as Khar? I doubt it.
That sound has pretty much disappeared from our Urdu dialect. They didn't teach it in my school, I doubt the teacher even knew what that sound was. I don't even hear it being said on TV anymore, except by a few senior actors. But you know who does say it properly? Bollywood singers.
Re: Offering Urdu language classes
Yes the proper Qaaf will be taught.
And proper way to say Khhala ( KH from the halaQ) :P will be taught, and not khala. If you know what I mean.
Re: Offering Urdu language classes
X2.
Like you asked kaunsi form sikhayi jayegi. All the forms you mentioned are differentiated by their accents and slangs.
By pure form I meant the correct pronounciations of 'huroof-e-tahajji' and words.
The form in which I'd teach Adaab and Salam both, because Adaab is said in the pure of Urdu and not religion influenced.
And I am sorry if I have offended anyone. I dont mean to.
I just offered a service. Still am offering it.
So if someones interested let me know.
And please dont create awain ke issues.
thank you.. :)
I hope all is taken in light spirit.
