Why people are objecting this nick now and why they haven’t before !

Very simple !

In my humble opinion , now they can see a flaw , a crack which is quite visible and understandable now ! Different set of policies for different users ! That's it :)

First of all the language used in Gs’s avatar guide is quite rude , discourteous or impolite .

Please explain this to me

To my liking , the language used is quite unprofessional and dictatorial . With whom you guys dealing here , some school kids ?

No its always like , Give respect to gain respect ! unless you learning doing this , you will see such issues here , again and again , I m afraid !

So ‘ ek Pm na karna bi admi ........ ‘ I must tell ya !

Go through your organizational structure again , yea i know you aint getting paid to do it !

Aliyish! With all due respect, weren't you an admin for a while too? How come you didn't take the good time you were alotted to fix all these problems that suddenly seem so clear as day's light to you. If i recall correctly, you were in a position to revoke that nick, why didn't you? You were in a position to voice your concern regarding these policies and the tone they set, why didn't you? Felt too comfy to voice your concerns, or did they not exist back then? Now suddenly you have lessons for the team of your fellow ex-teammates. I might just have the wrong perception or maybe i don't grasp the angle you're projecting, but it just seems kind of odd to me that you would say all this.

One of the responsibilities of an Admin is to approve/upload, disapprove/reject avatars, while being in a position to reflect on the forum new policies as well as those that exist. So being an admin, and being the one that deals with avatars, you didn't go through the policies? Seems kind of odd, any good/responsible admin would.

Sour grapes perhaps?

Learn to respect others "mate", and please carry no grudges, it shortens the lifespan and causes longterm heartache.

You know what ? I was expecting this coming , Gawd some people are so predictable !

It seems you don’t get my drift here , I have nothing against this nick as I had nothing against that avatar JJ uploaded ( yea yea i know , she is all clam and quite now but am just using her case as an example to elaborate my POV ).

What I clearly don’t understand , is the treatment ! why o why , different set of policies for different users .

Then the act of dictatorship ! not willing to learn what others got to say .

Many threads opened by your bunch are totally against GS norms but you guys are in power to bend the rules , so who cares . But if a general user does it ... damn here goes a big stick with no carrot

Last but not least , I think I have been enough respectful to other Mates ! Kindly don’t push me to pull the cards ( i don’t want to ) from my sleeves ! Then it would be a bigger mess , which is not intended , as its all about objecting and criticising the system , not the people involved in it .

O yea no hard feelings , as long as we can talk like this , am all fine and dandy , G’day mate !

I only come across it now, when dmd was in chat, and someone actually said that, they felt like doing a dmd, while in chat, this is when I gave notice to the name and understood the nick, and was disgusted.

and anyways did'nt JJ have a more inappropiate avater b4???
why was it not removed, then and the most recent one was????
and btw jj was also a senior member, what's that got to do with anything??

That's great. As long as we're on the same page. This concern of the thread-starter will be looked into by the Admin, and it will be sorted in a timely manner without the need of non-concerned individuals (including myself) to nitpick or support the issue raised.

Well in an unambiguous way; that's not ME , on any given day , I would love to approach my greatest stakeholder ( Our users ) and request him/her to do it for us , yea for us not for me :)

And throughout my time , being as moderator than as an admin , i followed that guideline . Therefore you can't simply go out and find a user , apart from your team , with whom i have been unfair on any occasion.

My good fella , let me tell you . I don't pretend to be a man of the people. But I do try to be a man for the people.

I guess there goes the problem , No one , no matter how hard they try , and o yea they do , very very hard !

They cant kill the name Aliyish !

You know what ? when you say that ' non-concerned Individuals to nitpick ' . Well to me that thing passes a negative message , like some one is afraid or not very capable of handling big issues .
