Not that I’m complaining, but the weather in Toronto has been just amazing - the sun shines almost every day and the temperature has remained between 0 and 10. Now either Canadians have a tendency to exaggerate, or I’m just extremely lucky that I’m easing into the winters so nicely. I mean this is what winter is like in South Africa. But I really was looking forward to seeing a white christmas, with all the houses looking so cute covered in the snow. Previously, I’ve spent February and March here, and still the temperatures were relatively mild. I think Canadians like to scare people off for no reason :stuck_out_tongue:

They get scared at sight of snow, just like Japanese get scared at thought of godzilla (dinosaurs?)

Yes, hence the popularity of Karaoke with the Japanese. Legend has it that the only way to calm an angry dinosaur was to sing to it. When rumors of a dinosaur sighting off the coast of Kyoto in the Sea of Japan spread like wildfire the Japanese Government , in an attept to keep the dinosaur from coming up on shore and reeking havoc, opened up public venuses where people could sing at any time of the day or night. When the government funding for the venues dried up private karaoke bars opened up to fill their spots. To this very day karaoke bars line the Sea of Japan with their speakers pointed towards the sea.

ahahaha! you've got to be kidding me. You have a wild imagination never experienced anything like it when I was there.

You're lucky...:)

This winter so far has been quite mild. But as they say, bad weather is invited, and good weather is scared off...so I think I'll say no more...

This past August was CRAP, though...so I consider this payback.

It's scheduled to be around 60 degree's here tommrrow. Rain showers instead of snow showers, weird. Also read that some bears are no longer hibernating because of global warming. Opps.

few weeks back the weather man on a TV said this year winter will be warmer for northern part, and more wet (probably for south) because of a guy named El-Nino` :mad:

yeah its going to rain here this weekend as well.

so the poor bears, what will they do? ive also seen lots of birds around - werent they supposed to have migrated?

It going to be a white christmas again it snowed here about 2 inches its going to snow tommorow and saturday morning:) :)

yeah, it really has been odd. we haven't even had a proper snow storm yet.
i miss my snow :(

and now, wait for cheegum to talk about his documentary as to why the weather is so much warmer now cause of global warming :p
