My answer later.
be a real desi report him to authorities as a terrorism sympathizer :D
First of all how did the flower uncle come
to know about your friends fiancee???
The flower uncle doesn't know about the engagement. He made many assumptions. Oddly enough, the engagement ring on my cousins finger did not deter him either.
Next question, would you tell your cousins fiancee? An amazing fella but baad temper.
You see may be his intentions were only to joke without any offense. I have seen shopkeepers with very bad sense of humor but the intentions are never to hurt people (Might be because of their less/no education)
Secondly, even if he did it to hurt you, than the best way to not let him achieve his aim is to walk away calmly as if his words were complelty ignored and you were not bothered even a bit.
When I went to Millitary College, my dad told me, " NEVER ever get into an arguement/fight with anyone on the street, specially with a misbehaving shopkeeper, as he would always try to pull you down to a lower level, but you have to behave good with him to raise him to a higher level. That is the difference between an educated and an uneducated person"
^ That is what our ideal used to do. He always protected the dignity of even his worst enemy by ignoring/smiling back to them, and alot of people felt so ashamed later that they became ready to give their life for him because of his good manners.

Please never commit this mistake. Allah would give you reward for spreading peace.
A man once told a scholar that one of your students used an abusive word for you while he was in another city.
The scholar replied " My student threw an arrow towards me, which didn't reach me, but you picked up that arrow and made sure that it is inserted in my heart"
