Odd apologies

I feel so indifferent when a person serving in US public offices come out to apologize for their mistakes. You know apologize for infidelity, corruption or other things of similar nature. The first thing that comes to mind is why don’t they deny it? Like who can authenticate chat messages? (Someone probably can) The reason I feel weird is because people in Pakistan, especially politicians, never EVER apologize. They can be caught red handed, they will still not confess. Can you imagine Zardari coming on PTV and saying he is sorry for all the riswat he and his people took while his wife was in office? How about the colorful Sheikh Rashid Ahmad confessing his inappropriate actions? Never happening.

Funny thing is that the only time someone actually came forward to apologize, like Dr. AQ khan, people don’t believe him.

It almost seems like all Pakistani politicians (including the generals) are somehow related to Bush. Its wicked!!

Re: Odd apologies

For a minute there I thought this thread would be an apology from you. I guess you are still contemplating the meaning of this month. Think a little harder!

Re: Odd apologies

Missy, for some reason I thought you would be chained up this month. :p

Re: Odd apologies

Re: Odd apologies

Ahmadjee bhaijaan... I know the feeling... Thursday afternoon, nothing much to do, bored college/work life, and can't wait to go home, what's better than doing musings on GS? Although for a minute I did think there was something deeper there :p
