well if we cant find a place then its going to be PC .. fiance is tripping out about it .. but i have seen irfan's pictures .. we can disregard the background ..

and plus we can even have it in our own hall instead of the entrance place etc .. we will have our selected decor to play around with .. i dont mind that ..

just that i have made up my mind not to travel .. at all ... i still need to ask him if he accommodates coming along to the parlor and then to PC .. if he does then that will be perfect cuz i can have some shots of getting ready :)

Oh he does come to parlour! Thats what I've heard! I have seen his pics of some brides getting ready in madeeha's and also mariam's salon. Which parlor have u booked?
The venue for my big day is garrison golf and country club. Would it be alright if I get my shoot done in the main golf club area? and there are so many halls as well.

Hellooo pretty ladies how r all the preps.?! I feel so tired and stressed i need a detox.! Went to my friends wedding today i wanted to cry when she walked in with her dad she looked stunning mashallah and made me realise im really going to miss my dad on my big day inshallah.! My dad passed away 8 years ago (may Allah bless him with Jannat inshallah ameen)

My sister said i look ill :@ ive lost some weight and she said its showing on my face but i honestly need to relax a little. Indidnt even like my makeup today and i love doing my makeup etc grr what r u guys doing to relax.?'X

Any Karachi brides? Hopefully, iA, I'll be an Oct. bride, dates are still being finalized. We looked at venues and wedding planners while we were in Karachi a couple of weeks ago, so as soon as we have the dates, iA, we'll book right away. I've already ordered my baraat dress, it's red and purple, looking into mehendi and valima dresses. Still undecided about photographer, my first choice would be AJ Studios; however, there are also K Bridals and Umair Bin Nasir, anyone heard anything about the later 2? Also, makeup is still undecided. First choice was Bina Khan; however, after reading some recent reviews, I am a bit skeptical. Now I am leaning more towards Shamain. Good luck to all the other brides and have fun! I'll update as soon as there is progress :)

Gold is mixed with copper to make it stable. Pure golden (called kundan) is 24 karats but generally jewelry is made in 22 karats here. Anything below that isn’t good. If you are purchasing something off the shelf, do ask for a receipt mentioning karats details and you should be good. If you have a reference, someone who knows the jewelers, that’s even better.

apply egg on ur hair once a week... it does help grow hair... i do it n my hair r touching my thighs... :)

Hello ladies! Its been quite a while where are you all lost? how are the preparations coming along?? :) here's what I have done so far..

  • Booked Venues for mehndi barat and walima
  • Placed orders for mayun, mehndi, barat, walima and maklawa dresses..
  • Booked mariam khawaja for mehndi and baraat and madeeha signature for walima
  • Booked photographer for event photography on barat and booked photographer for walima shoot
  • bought some fancy clothes
  • bought some nightwears
  • bought some clothes for inlaws (Men)

Things that are left:

*Event photographer for mehndi and photographer for barat shoot
* Clothes for Inlaws (women)
* Groom dress from our side
* Shoes shopping
* makeup shopping
* some more fancy clothes

still so much to do :(

I am getting my Mehndi dress done by Allechant! Amazing customer service, super friendly girls! Will definitely be buying some heavy formals from them. They adjust to your budget and are always ready to help you. I highly recommend those pretty girls and their designs are unique and would look good on most of the people :)
