Guys lemme give u advice from somebodies experience.
Firstly, u assess who has the upper hand.
If he hasnt than do whatver u want.
If the obssesive guy, has the upper hand, u better watch each and everyone of ur steps and words.
And if u cant make the 'creep' go away, you should reassess if u have a part in him chasing u. Maybe u did somthing wrong to him or he knows some thing of yours you just cannot risk being disclosed to the world.
Assess the cost and benefits of telling others, especially the police.
Best scenario, u get him captured, or caught, but that would make him more angry and make the issue more public, which is the last thing u want.
Also be mindful of that fact he may not be stupid- you have to have a good reason to tell the police dont u. Has he ever threatend to kill, hurt or rob u?
Friends do have fights.
