Someone I know is obsessed with entertaining her kids be it stepping on other’s toes, dumping the kids on someone else, putting their own financial and health conditions on the backburner…like totally unrealistic.
I would like to see what values all of that has added to their child?
Also, what do you think is a balanced quanity of fun activities a child should have?
Re: Obsessive behavior with kids, and entertaining
IMO kids want everything and they want it now. Letting your life being ruled at what entertains them is pointless. They want more and then they are bored.
How many times have we bought expensive toys and after a few days they don't even look at them.
I select one activity per season whether it be swimming, music, dance class, horse riding and that's it. You play with what you have, read books and help out around the house.
