why is it that people who call and have silly arguments against Obama or his wife like he may have soft spot for muslims (as if that is a bad thing) or she is angry black woman always have the typical hillbilly accents?

Stereotypes. The nation has come a long way from where it used to be, it will take a little more effort. But the direction is correct though. Obama has pretty much worked his way around most minds. Michelle will have to appear a bit more in public, and let the people know that her family is just like any other family. Convention will hopefully be an icebreaker.
