Bollywood seems to have embraced the idea of showing obscenity in movies. I first saw Akshay Kumar using the finger gesture in Namastay London and recently I saw Aftab and Sonam using the same obscene gesture in Players.
What are your thoughts about this?

The finger/hand game that Anjali n Rahul played in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was obscene too. Just in a more gay/cheesy way.

while our movie channels edit out words like kutta and kamina …
even one time they edited “rape” from a dialogue and i dont think rape is an obscene word…and even the way it was used was not obscene ..the characters were talking about the crime..

sadly it is reflective of where our society is headed.......
I wonder if we can lump together in to this category the outfits that they put on the women....or even the men where Salman is always so keen to rip off his shirt.....I wonder what that contributes to the story line......

true…but in more recent years some of the better producers have come up with stories that are somewhat “believable”…
