because of this still we cant stop bring things and issue up. otherwise there is no need of these "discussion forums". if these are "discussion" forums, then there must have sometime to discuss and to oppose others views and opinion.
For example:
If I say "Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was a False Prophet" what disrespect is in this statement?
This statement can create a stir in a soul who believes in him & then comes the real part, hot arguments & then we will see one liner's which might add fuel to the fire & before you know it it will be a full fledged fire.
Once I attended an ISCON discussion meeting over some of the aspects of Krishna life. I was totally desparate because it was not a discussion but a smiling 'yes' nodding to each other.
I advised the authorities to remove the word 'discussion' from the ad board, but they instead asked me to leave the stage.
Frankly speaking 'sects' never like or promote any discussion, rather they are afraid of it.
The ISCON so called discussion was totally boring, and I went to whatch a night movie show.
The one who cant bear/face the opposing arguments and if this soul stirs, I think even he should not see these discussion pages. There should be some kind of WARNING at the top of pages like you see WARNINGs at the start of horror movies. (really not joking).
How much hot those “hot arguments” are? we don’t have a measuring tool. Everyone has his own feelings.
For some Qadiyanies even this statement can be a burning statement “Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was a False Prophet”. May be even someone from them not able to read it and for someone else it can be just an opposing argument during a discussion and it think about giving a counter argument. This is what the discussion is. If a Qadiyani who cant even face this statement “Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was a False Prophet”. It is not suggested for him to even participate in Discussion Forums. Because for him even a smallest thing can be a “Full Fledged Fire”.
The rules for the Religion Forum are/were created with great thought and based on our experiences over the last six years. We want to promote discussions, not encourage war-zones and bitterness. Attacking someone else's faith will result in them attacking yours and that never makes for useful discussion. Share knowledge in a positive manner. If that is too much to ask, then ofcourse you are in the wrong place.
