Re: obedience to Rasulullah (s)
Job of a postman is just to deliver a letter but then he does not have any concern about it neither he has any say about it. He just delivers the letters and his job is done right there.
While what you have posted, although it tells us that Prophet:saw: was one to bring a letter from ALLAH:swt: but his job did not end there. If you are going to take your evidence from Quran, then, you must take everything in consideration, not just what you think is enough and discard the rest. That is called taking things out of context.
The same Quran further explains what the mission of Rasoolulah:saw: is and it is far beyond than a postman:

[3:164] Allah did confer a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a messenger from among themselves, rehearsing unto them the Signs of Allah, sanctifying them, and instructing them in Scripture and Wisdom, while, before that, they had been in manifest error.
[9:33] It is He Who hath sent His Messenger with guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion, even though the Mushrikoon (idolators) may detest (it).
[48:28] It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion: and enough is Allah for a Witness.
61:9] It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, that he may proclaim it over all religion, even though the Mushrikoon (idolators) may detest (it).
22:78] And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline). He has chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and ye be witnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protector - the Best to protect and the Best to help!
