It is extremely difficult to impossible proposition. Unfortunately Pakistanis have never been a cohisive society, except on one very short term occassion that was in 1965 war. In developed and democratic world, what ever the differences among them, they become one nation or should I say one person when thier countries pass through crucial times like above. Who is responsibe for that, though politicians are responsible but major responsibility lie on successive military governments or dictatorships who were always behaved as Sam's military rather than, Pakistan's military, who safeguard Sam's insterts more than Pakistan's interests. I think Liaqat Ali Khan was first politician who started one way love affair with Sam, completely ignoring other then super power Russia. Another extreme example was Zia-ul-Haq. What Paksitan is today is absolutely his policies of CIA jehadis agenda carried on for successive years though somewhat modified by military and ISI in three decades. Finally Mush was the one who hammered the last nail in the coffin of Pakistan's self respect and self esteem. That stupid so called commando peed in his pants when Sam roared "either you are with us or against us". He should have never taken u-turn on Taliban, instead immediately announced for elections after handing over power to Chief Justice of Pakistan. Let the political system delt with that situation. That was one hell of a blunder that retard general committed, I would not mind if he should be hanged for that.
