If this was an Iranian cleric speaking against Iran or a Muslim cleric speaking against Islam, then as always, he would be hailed as a hero for speaking his mind...But since, this happens to be a Christian preacher denouncing atrocities by the US, he has become a nutcase...
And the same jackals who laude outspokenness in other cultures will denounce outspokenness about their culture...
