Aren’t they a drain on the schools and the healthcare system. The infrastructure clearly wasn’t designed to handle such massive influx of immigrants. The purpose of restricting immigration is to prevent undue burden on the countries infrastructure and illegal immigration just renders that purpose moot.

I dont believe so. Illegal immigrants dont have access to health care (heck many citizens dont have access to health care). Illegal immigrants aren’t entitled to federal loans as citizens are for education. They cannot get hired for an type competitive job, so they dont compete with the general population. They cant even get a drivers license as far as I know.
The jobs they do are jobs no one else is willing to do, mostly menial jobs, with low pay and no benefits. In fact, hiring American workers may actually raise production costs, and a lot of the time the American workers arent nearly as reliable as the illegals since Americans obviously have other options, so illegals have a much lower attrition rate. And they work harder then horses. Ask any Pakistani with a business and they will tell you that illegals work harder then anyone. Given the option, most business owners, be they construction, restaurant, grocery etc will hire the illegals first.

The undue burden comes from within. The inefficiency, tax breaks, wars that need not be fought but to appease the lobbies, all these waste more money then any illegal.
