She did what she felt she had to do. Republicans were not going to take Presidency because people are generally sick and tired of the past 8 years.
She brought some hope back to the McCain camp, but her charm wore off quickly after she started showing her lack of diplomacy and incompetence as a VP Candidate.
oh well..shrugs...like Lois said, McCain came out and did the right thing. We may not have to fear a backlash anymore, as was predicted some days ago (white vs. black ,etc..)
