Obagi

Doc’s recommending it for my acne scars and pigmentation. I’ve heard it contains hydroquinone (sp?). I’m deadly scared of it. So gots a few questions for you ladies

  • Will i have to use this thing for the rest of my life? I’m not looking forward to stopping the treatment (cuz my products ran out) and then having everything come back, but 3 fold now.

  • I’ll be living in a very sunny climate. Would you recommend it for that kind of environment? I know i should be using sun-screen and stuff, but lets be realistic, how long does that thing even stay on the desi oily skin?

ok that’s all for now.

Re: Obagi

its ok to use .

HQ is safe to use.. but be sure and get the right prescription. Some derms suggest that u use it every alternate day.. some HQ creams have inbuilt sunblock.. but u shud still use sunblock.

For oily skin chose a gel over thick creams..

Re: Obagi

Use a suncreen with Mexoryl SX. If you are using Mexoryl SX based sunscreens they're light stable so you don't have to keep stressing about reapplying it.

the only other sunblocks that are full spectrum and UV stable is zinc oxide but that clogs pores and we are BOTH trying to avoid acne, right? haha.
