So I finally tried the Obagi blue peel. Wanted to do it for some time. My skin concerns were light scaring from teenage acne and hyper pigmentation. The downtime is 7 days, and I am currently at day 5. I have noticed a better complexion as my skin is being revealed and a more even color. I do have dark circles under my eyes but as it was forewarned by the arithmetician that this doesn’t look like it will change much since it is hereditary. Has anyone tried it?

I use obagi nu derm which they say essentially does the same thing as the blue peel. I wanted to do the blue peel until I saw pictures OUCH!!! did it hurt a lot?

Yes it did hurt, but only while she was putting it on. I have used the Nu-derm for a few years so the next step for me was to do the peel. I did do it under the eyes to see if it can help with the color. My eyes did swell and had to sleep at a 45 degree angle for the first few days to reduce swelling. HOwever, since I was doing it anyway I definitely wanted to do under the eyes. I'm still peeling at this point and the skin looks a lot younger (i'm in my late 20's).

I think you mean aesthetician. Aritmetician sounds like someone who’s a pro at arithmetic or math. 
But I could be wrong.

any one try the obagi syrup for skin glow. one dermatologist recommend for complexion glow. and worth 10,00. so anyone hv tried or no.

Just an update since it has been almost a year since I did the Obagi Peel. My skin improved with time after the peel. In the beginning it was very sensitive to the sun and I had to keep it well protected with a strong SPF. However, the scaring that concerned me has drastically lightened (has not gone away completely), however I am happy with my results.

^It removes the outer layers of skin and reveals the new skin underneath so yeah it's lighter in colour but you'll be a LOT more sensitive to the sun so unless you use sunscreen religiously you'll likely end up darker.. Ppl tend to use the Obagi peels to remove sun damage, hyper pigmentation etc. I posted a diary on here once of a woman who had it done, she had included pics of what was happening day by day.. If you do a search it should come up..
