Oh those comments Hurt feelings everywhere. If you enjoyed them you will enjoy these ones. Pakistani film Waar shows India as cause of nation India-Pakistan arguments at the end of an article whether on Indian site or Pakistani site are funny and so predictable.
I thought i’d enlighten both sides so i joined the debate on this comment page. Think i changed one mind but then i gave up. See if you can recognise who i am here.

apparently it’s true according to this article. Shaan Shahid will promote the film on comedy nights with kapil in India. Would be interesting if it happened. Ali Zafar has been on this show.

If sources are to be believed, then Lollywood’s very own Shaan Shahid is all set to appear on the famous Indian show “Comedy Nights with Kapil” to promote his latest film “Operation 021.”
Now if this does happen it will be one amazing episode attracting both Pakistani and Indian audiences.
Sometime back, Shaan Shahid was in the news for passing some objectionable remarks about Pakistani stars working in Bollywood which created a lot of stir in social media. It would be interesting to see what Shaan Shahid has to say if this issue is raised on Comedy Nights with Kapil.

He is not working in Bollywood… :5: He is promoting Pakistani movie in India…

Farigh trolls same people posting same comments ten times lol!!! Should never bother with these comment sections they are full of idiots taking cheap shots at eachother. In real life situation normal people don’t act like that. Internet ke shair :cb:

Not sure. Khuda ke liye, Bol, Josh, Main hoon Shahid Afridi and Zinda bhaag were released. Long ago Yakee wali and Katar singh were also released. I think even Waar was thinking to be released in India but i think Bilal Lashari says he did not approach anyone specificially for distribution so not sure how it could be released. Then again tere bin laden(starring Ali Zafar), bhaag milka bhaag, agent vinod and ek tha tiger got banned in Pakistan as did Ranjhanaa which was not even related to Indo-Pak issues so i’m not sure if this will get through censors. I hope it does. Anyway, lot of comments in media were made about the Waar movie and they appreciated the direction and cinematography. I think Ram Gopal Verma expressed admiration. Waar was in English and this is in Urdu so maybe it can reach larger population if it gets released. I think Waar could be released but maybe with some cuts..who knows

Don’t know about Operation 21 being released in India or even if the director looked for distributors for the film.

Didn’t know these 3 were released in India. :hmmm:
I wonder on what scale and what was the response.

Until about 1965 there was exchange of movies between the two countries and the movies were on par with each other.
Kartar Singh and Yakkay Waali are famous old movies.
Aparently Noor Jahan’s Dopatta was a big hit in India in the 50s.

true Lekin awkward questions can be asked. Same would be situation if some indian actor said pakistani films should not be released /pakistani actors should not act in Bollywood then goes to Pakistan to promote a film.

Bilkul sach Kaha. Same trolls, different names and same message. All keyboard warriors. Real life mein mice internet pe anonymous shair.
I wish I could be wise but I learnt the hard way. Only thing I achieved is maybe I softened tone of later comments when I mentioned I know good people on both sides. Maybe 1 appreciative comment. Then back to usual.
My new rule: never read yt and newspaper comments on indo-pak issues

I heard katar singh, dopatta and yakkar Waali did well. Katar Singh even ran for 3 yrs in some places. I think after 1965 things went downhill. I think Bollywood was also banned till 2008

Hopefully zindagi channel will do co-dramas and films. Those acting on these serials will then have established fan bases and if they are in a pakistani movie people will see it. Filmistaan is a small budget movie on indian-pakistani friendship and it is hoping it can get released in Pakistan but they are low on funds. I’ve heard it’s not pro-either side but just pro films.
