What is the cost of software (operating systems/applications) in pakistan,is it any cheaper than what u can get in uk or any other countries?

whats the approximate cost for windows xp or office,or any programming software such as VB, in rupees? if they are cheaper than i couldorder from pakistan…and please no pirated software!

I heared from a collegue that pakistan and countries around it such as india,bangladesh sofware piracy is an increase…u can buy a bundle of software for 50 rupees!

suggestions, any links to pakistani software vendors?

To find licenced software in Pakistan is a quite though task, cause wherever you go, you`ll find pirated software only. :)

In Pakistan, there are offices of Microsoft and Oracle. The pricing is pretty good, and the original software licenses are available much cheaper than sold in US.
