I understand what you are saying but part of me really feels that he is perhaps genuinely a concerned and caring individual who wants to bring attention to some of the causes he talks about. We know a very little about the Shaan the individual behind his on screen angry Gujjar persona, he is a bit of mystery in Pakistan showbiz. So maybe he is afterall a sensitive and patriotic person who’s just realised that he can do lot more for the public than keeping his views and emotions to himself.
On a second note, I’m actually very impressed by the polite, calm and moralistic nature of the show. Its so much better than all the non stop over the top halla gulla, glamour, mindless praise and gossips and wedding weeks you see on the other morning shows. These days its very hard to find shows where the hosts (be it male or female) don’t act like hyper active teens.
