I mean Pajama is kinda apparel if its Straight cut pants with ease at the hip and thigh area, straight through the calves and with narrow or straight width cuffs. Then it is what we call Aligarh cut pajama.

If its Churidar & tang pajama , then the cut is totally on a formation that looks like a sack. This kind of pajama may or may not have a belt like in the shalwar. The hip area of the pajama is wide and gracious, the thigh area is not fitted but follows the body curves, the knee and calf area are extremely fitted, and that is why the bias cut of the fabric is essential. Ya know what I mean :pcg:

So the lower calf area up to the ankle is gathered and wrinkled in a beautiful manner (6-10 inches) resembling bangles, thus the name Churridar (bangles are known as churi Urdu).

Therefore ChuriDaaR payjama isnt the only form of payjamas available for men … we got loads of choice in this department

So get yourself out of this quandary .. will ya :asa:

Peshwaz…Sharara which is a kind of loose, trailing payjama worn by women.

Suithana , Payjama like garment, worn mostly by women; wide at top and comfortably roomy around the legs and ankles.
