is his conversion like that of Mike Tyson?

this news brings negative publicity to Islam. we needed conversions of those like him as if he is such an angel.

i don’t think Allah will let him off the hook without being punished for his crimes. when Huquuq-ul-'Ibaad is involved [in cases where it’s worst kind has taken place like MURDER], the divine justice demands that the perpetrator of a heinous crime be punished.

The acceptance of Islam erradicates the sins committed before it. So whoever accepts Islam starts off with a clean slate.

Though I haven’t heard of this news anywhere else so far.
