Yup, i was just watching her series Smallville...she is very pretty. Here some info about her.
Kristin Laura Kreuk was born on December 30,1982, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She grew up in Vancouver with her parents, Peter Kreuk, who is Dutch, and Deanna Che, who is Chinese Indonesian, both of whom are landscape architects, and one younger sister (name unknown). Her parent's birth nationalities resulted in Kristin's unusual, but beautiful, Eurasian appearance.
During her senior year at Eric Hamber High School in Vancouver her teacher encouraged her to attend an open casting audition for a new show, Edgemont. It was an audition she was sure would be pointless, but it would at the very least give her something to do. When she left Eric Hamber High School in 2000, she was already well on her way to stardom, having been snapped up by the eagle-eyed casting directors, who had spotted her star quality, and cast her in the lead role, as Laurel. She has since starred in two seasons of the hit series as the witty, artistic 16 year-old from Toronto, who has trouble dealing with her new suburban surroundings.
In 2001 Kristin landed the title role in the ABC movie Snow White, co-staring with Miranda Richardson. This film was recently premiered in the US under the name of "Snow White: The Fairest of Them All."
In the spring of 2001, she met the casting director for a new series that the Warner Bros Television Network was working on called Smallville. The new series was about a young Clark Kent, and his secret love for Lana Lang. Kristin was initially skeptical after hearing the premise, as she felt that the character of Lana sounded far too boring, and would have little or nothing going for her. However she went to Los Angeles for a meeting with the producers, and on reading the script, she changed her mind. When offered the role, she immediately accepted.
Most recently, she has been chosen as the new face of the Neutrogena skin-care range, appearing in advertisements on television, and in magazines. She follows in the footsteps of Jennifer Love Hewitt and Mandy Moore, in promoting these products. Interesting side note, Kristin's parents did not allow her to wear make up and because of this she does not feel the need to wear makeup to this day. She is exactly what Neutrogena wanted a natural bueaty.
Kristin loves to walk, and because of this, she has never learnt how to drive. On sunny days she may even be seen strolling the sea wall of Stanley Park just like every other Vancouverite. She is a self-proclaimed shy and boring person, who doesn't smoke, and has never been drunk. She spends most of her free time with her close-knit group of friends, often at the movies, or with family. Kristin relaxes by reading, dancing, and listening to music. She especially likes hip-hop and rap music, but can't stand heavy metal. She also enjoys taking her friends to wonderful places such as Mexico. Kristin just bought a condominium in Vancouver. She is spending the summer of 2002 decorating it.
Her Character:
Kreuk portrays a 16 year old Lana Lang, adopted by her Aunt Nell following the death of her parents in the meteor shower, 12 years earlier, when she was 4 years old. Despite being a wonderful caregiver, Nell can never fill the void left by her loss, and can never erase the loneliness Lana feels. Lana manages to ward off the loneliness on occasion, and being popular, outgoing and exceptionally beautiful certainly does help. However when she really needs someone to turn to, it is often to Clark Kent, who willingly listens to her pain and fear. Lana is dating the school’s star quarterback, Whitney Fordman, and because of this is most of the time unaware of Clark’s true feelings for her. However she also appears intrigued by the mystery and enigma of Lex Luthor, and the possible danger he represents. Most importantly, he could hold the key to her greatest desire, which is of leaving Smallville, and joining the world.
