NZ vs. WI 1st. Test

Nice solid start be NZ sofar

NZ 23/0

The field setting of WI suggest there is something in the wicket for the faster bowlers … let’s see waht they make of it

as i write a run-out … bowler Bradshaw deflects the ball towards the stumps at the nonstriker end in his follow through

NZ 23/1

Re: NZ vs. WI 1st. Test

It just turned liquid dude … :cb:
** New Zealand 33/2 (16.0 ov)**

Re: NZ vs. WI 1st. Test

21.4 Bradshaw to Fulton, OUT: good length ball on the leg stump, not
much of movement, Fulton tries to turn it away onside, gets the
leading edge straight to Ganga at gully

** New Zealand 54/3, Partnership of 23**

Re: NZ vs. WI 1st. Test

Guys, who in the world is keeping an eye on this match? I mean, I was reading in Cricinfo that a mere crowd of 800 people showed up in the Jade Stadium for the last one day. I don't know what kind of "miracles" the WI board is expecting from their players.

Re: NZ vs. WI 1st. Test

hye guys is ther any chance of this match on sopcast, thanks!!!

Re: NZ vs. WI 1st. Test

They want to avoid to become another ZIM … that’s why they let them playing and so think ICC too coz another team backing away from Test-Status would do anything but good to their objective promoting the game all over the world + we’ve the WC '07 in a year so WI has to show atleast something

Ever since the Chanderpaul has become Skipper this Team has simply gone down not that they were much better before … i mean just look at his body language while on the field … Even Inzi is better and that tells u something … Chandu’s batting has suffered

They need some radical change in attitude otherwise i c India crushing them in all 4 tests in their own backyard

Re: NZ vs. WI 1st. Test

WI 60-3

Lara and Sarwan batting and as i write Lara just caught at mid-wicket of shane bonds bowling and gone after scoring 5

WI 60-4

Re: NZ vs. WI 1st. Test

WI 74/4
and Chandu with his awful looking batting stance

Re: NZ vs. WI 1st. Test

WI skipper gone for 13

WI 90-5

Re: NZ vs. WI 1st. Test

Atleast Sarwan is offering some resistance after the cream of the WI-Batting is back in the hut

WI 106-5
Sarwan and Dwayne Smith batting

Re: NZ vs. WI 1st. Test

WI 127-5

Sarwan going good sofar and just dropped by C. Martin of his own Bowling on the Follow-through

WI trail by 152 runs with 5 Wickets remaining

Looks like i'm entertaining myself in this thread

Re: NZ vs. WI 1st. Test

WI 133-5

Sarwan reaches his Fifty with the help of NZ fielders who assist him with a overthrow that reaches the boundary

Re: NZ vs. WI 1st. Test

At lunch day 2 WI r 160-5 ..... some recovery through Sarwan-Smith partnership which is 70 runs worth sofar

WI still 115 behind

Re: NZ vs. WI 1st. Test

Smith is definitely talented enough to rescue WI with Sarwan. BTW, are watching it on cricinfo or somewhere else?
